Opening Activity 9.22.11

On this Friday, the 23rd, the NASA Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite is going to plummet to Earth. NASA officials and the U.S. Air Force are tracking the path of the satellite but it's not supposed to hit anywhere in North America. Researchers predict that the threat of human injuries is very low and it's likely that no people or buildings will be affected by the crash. This is a super interesting article, very unusual. The uncertainty of where exactly the satellite will hit and how much damage it will do definitely adds to the suspense and danger factor of the story.
