According to an article from Star Tribune fire-fighters are working to conquer the flames of a 100,000 acre forest fire in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. This is the largest forest fire in Minnesota's history. It's a scary thing because there are several houses and buildings that could be in danger as the fire spreads. Luckily the cooling weather and low wind speeds are helping workers contain it. This is an interesting article because you don't hear about forest fires in Minnesota very often.
